"The Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that creates film, photography and media, inspiring people to save the oceans. Our first film, The Cove, has won dozens of awards around the world, including the Oscar® for Best Documentary in 2009, and has inspired over a million people around the world to take action. We are busy working on our next project, which includes a documentary wake-up call that humanity is presiding over a mass extinction of extraordinary and irreplaceable species, a campaign to invade urban environments with the sounds and songs of the ocean, and an educational and outreach program to inspire youth across the globe to become lifelong stewards for the environment. Our mission to inspire people to save the oceans will not be an easy one. However, as Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. We are thrilled We Broke Symmetry is raising funds and friends for this important mission."

We are very honored to have our music associated with such an incredible cause. If we as artists are to pull from nature for inspiration, we might as well return the favor. Hopefully our music can make its way to the ocean and somehow protect it's incredibly lush environment and inhabitants. Thanks for listening.
